Black Map
The Black Map, drawn in Summer 2014 in black ink, was an early version map of the continent of Elondor, based on different versions of the Grey Map. Created as part of a series of now-obsolete maps and serving, under the designation Elondor1b, as the main map between 2014 and 2018, it was eventually replaced by the draft Blue Map in the course of a major overhaul of Elondorian geography. Notable differences between the maps include the absence of most islands and three major bodies of water, the Kalparian Sea (including the entirety of Kalparian culture), the White Sea, and the Gulf of Belkondíl, on the Black Map, and the more detailed and realistic distribution of mountain ranges on the Blue Map. The Black Map is labelled entirely in German.
